Abu Dhabi, 30, September 2021: His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative of Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, visited the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) pavilion at Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), before yesterday. His Highness, also the patron of ADIHEX, watched the Fazza Championships models displayed at the stand.

A regular participant at ADIHEX, the HHC, however has a different concept at its pavilion this year. Rashid Al Khasouni, HHC Director of Championships, explained: “HHC’s pavilion this year is designed in the form of Five Stops to translate years of work and achievements by Fazza Championships, as we celebrate UAE’s 50th anniversary.”

Located in Hall 8, stand 10 D, HHC’s pavilion is designed to retell stories of champions and managing heritage competitions.

Al Khasouni said: “The Five Stops at HHC Pavilion tells the story of achievements and growth of HHC and UAE’s heritage sports.  We also highlight the milestones reached under the direction and support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai. The Fazza Championships have come a long way, and reinforce our national identity.”
 
Heritage
HHC distinctly display the trophies to symbolise the type of heritage championships, and the smart gadgets used for participation at the events, based on world standards 

Saluki
The second stop is the robotic gazelle used during Saluki racing. The Saluki Championship approaches its 15th year and it has become even more popular among UAE nationals and residents.

The Falcon
The third stop is the falcon, UAE’s symbol and emblem of pride. The Fazza Championship for Falconry is displayed on the side of the pavilion, complete with the timekeepers, sensors and digital monitors. HHC has turned the falconry competition into a world-class championship. 

Wathiqati
The Wathiqati initiative marks the fourth stop. It is a collection of old documents, images and films from various UAE establishments and individuals. A Wathiqati gallery at the stand portrays part of UAE’s journey during the past 50 years.

Al Oula
The fifth stop is a corner designed to host ADIHEX guests and visitors with live broadcast on Al Oula radio from Al Oula Radio Network. As an Emirati, culture and heritage radio, Al Oula has succeeded throughout the years to reinforce national identity and promote UAE’s social values.
