Immersive Entertainment Experience
With mobile content continuing to surge thanks to the rapid growth of mobile video consumption over the past two years, today’s entertainment-hungry generation now demand more screen space so they can watch, view, read and enjoy more of the things they love, all from the comfort of their smartphones. Super Narrow Bezels for an Immersive Entertainment Experience
Dedicated to pursuing a more immersive display and a wider field of vision for entertainment lovers around the world, the left and right bezel of the HONOR X8 have been compressed to 1.1mm , while the top bezel is only 1.15mm thin supported by rounded corners on all four sides, delivering an almost all-screen stunning display to bring users a one-stop entertainment experience.
The edge-to-edge display ensures movie buffs can enjoy all their favorite films on their smartphone or immerse themselves in hours of YouTube and TikTok content, making videos more engaging than ever before. For those that love to use their smartphone for work and study, the enhanced screen size and wider aspect ratio boosts productivity to the maximum. Multitasking is a breeze with more space for icons and widgets, while users can also write notes with ease, read and respond to emails, view their calendar or watch lectures and educational presentations online in comfort.
Innovative Glue Dispensing Solution
To accomplish this industry breakthrough, HONOR developed an innovative glue dispensing solution for the HONOR X8, removing the gap on the middle frame bezel and filling adhesive between the display and the middle frame bezel. Traditionally, the outer layer of the glue is added after assembling the display, and a larger space needs to be occupied for the process. To circumvent this, HONOR added the outer layer of glue before assembling the display and filled the gap with the glue precisely through the extrusion of the display assembly process, significantly reducing the gap between Cover Glass (CG) and the middle frame bezel, to deliver the HONOR X8’s super narrow bezel design. The design showcases HONOR’s commitment to delivering innovative technology solutions and a seamless user experience, allowing consumers to truly immerse themselves and indulge in the content they are consuming.
HONOR Self-developed Antenna Transmission Technology
The super narrow bezel also presents challenges when it comes to the antenna design of the smartphone. HONOR pioneered an HONOR self-developed antenna transmission technology, ensuring excellent wireless communication performance, despite a 30% reduction in space for the antenna.
The HONOR X8 comes equipped with a 6.7-inch HONOR FullView ultra-thin Display, supporting a resolution of 2388x1080 pixels and 16.7 million colors, enhancing clarity, and offering a true-to-life viewing experience, ideal for watching movies, browsing photos or gaming. For advanced visuals, the phone features a screen refresh rate of up to 90Hz, enabling a smoother scrolling and gaming experience and ensuring users can relish in superior picture quality. Also keeping user’s digital wellbeing in mind, the HONOR X8 is equipped with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification , which reduces the proportion of harmful blue light which alleviates eye strain and fatigue, even after extended periods of use.
HONOR X8 is now available for purchase through HONOR Online Store, Sharaf DG, Jumbo, Emax, Ecity, Carrefour, Virgin, Axiom, Amazon and Noon at a price of AED 899 with a free backpack.
