● Visitors of all ages are invited to Jameel Arts Centre to experience new exhibitions, an artists’ film programme, Jameel Library and Art Jameel Shop during the Holy Month
● The annual celebration of ‘Ramadan Nights’ returns with ‘Creative Stations’ led by local art practitioners, free flowing beverages and snacks, hands-on learning opportunities, Jameel Library reading circles and various food concepts  (April 9 and April 16, from 9pm till midnight)
 
Dubai, United Arab Emirates | April 8, 2022 - Art Jameel invites visitors of all ages to its contemporary art museum in Dubai, Jameel Arts Centre, to enjoy the slow, contemplative days and breezy nights of Ramadan with two new major solo exhibitions ‘Taus Makhacheva: A Space of Celebration’ and ‘Fahd Burki: Daydreams’; ongoing ‘Artist’s Rooms: Samson Young’; researcher Salma Serry’s display of archival images, menus and annotations, focussing on food as a site of confluence in ‘Library Circles: Salma Serry’; artists’ film screenings; children’s workshops and much more. 
 
Ramadan Nights
Saturdays, April 9 and April 16, 2022
From 9 pm until midnight 
This year, the annual celebration of Ramadan Nights returns to Jameel Arts Centre with two fun-filled programming on two consecutive Saturdays (April 9 and 16, from 9 pm till midnight).
 
Programming includes workshops across ‘Creative Stations’ for both adults and children led by local  art practitioners, board games, henna designs, storytime at Jameel Library and a ‘Reading Vigil’ paying ode to  scholars, writers and artists who have left a mark on how we engage with the world.
 
Visitors of Ramadan Nights are able to enjoy a late night treat from one of the local vendors, offering Karak, fizzy drinks and freeflow cotton candy and popcorn, or can head over to the museum’s new farm-to-fork restaurant, Teible, and try the Ramadan-themed culinary concoctions. 
 
Ramadan Nights are free and open to all, upon registration due to limited capacity. For more details, please refer to the schedule of programming for April 9 and April 16.
