Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 14 September 2022: Following the announcement of the exclusive limited series collaboration between the BMW Group and world-renowned artist, Jeff Koons, The 8 x Jeff Koons has officially arrived at Abu Dhabi Motors with the innovative model now on display at showrooms. 

The exclusive collaboration saw the BMW Group join with Koons to create one of the most elaborately designed BMW models in history, utilizing the BMW M850i xDrive Gran Coupé as the canvas for the project. With only 99 vehicles produced in the limited-edition series and on display at select locations worldwide, the energetic and powerful design features elements of pop art with geometric patterns to complement the sporty 8 Series Gran Coupé. 

The production phase saw over 200 hours dedicated solely to the exterior paint work for each specific model, The expressive and striking design combines 11 unique exterior colours, with only four models produced each week during the development phases of the exclusive series.

“It is sporty and flashy, as well as minimalist and conceptual. On the car, the lines are getting bigger on their journey from the hood towards the trunk, creating a sense of forward movement just as the ‘POP!’ and the vapor thrust design elements do.” said Jeff Koons on the limited-edition series. 

As the official importer of BMW Group vehicles in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, automotive enthusiasts can visit the Abu Dhabi Motors showroom in Umm Al Nar to get an up-close look at the precision and delicate craft involved in producing the unique model, now on display and for sale at the limited time exhibition. 

On the arrival of The 8 X Jeff Koons models to Abu Dhabi Motors showrooms across the UAE, Syed Karim, General Manager said, “It is with great pleasure that Abu Dhabi Motors welcomes one of the BMW Group’s most innovative and unique designs ever produced to our showrooms.
