Pandora Launch a New Limited-Edition Charm in Support of UNICEF Giving Young Voices the Chance to Thrive
In honour of World Children’s Day on 20th November, the new limited-edition Pandora for UNICEF Blooming Flower Double Dangle Charm launches this month as part of Pandora’s long-standing partnership with UNICEF.
55 AED from every Charm for change that is purchased will be donated to UNICEF’s programmes around the world, giving children the chance to thrive and helping cultivate a world where children flourish with hopes of a brighter future.
Crafted in the shape of a flower and engraved with the words “learn, grow, love”, the new limited-edition dangle charm has been designed to represent how even in the most unlikely surroundings, flowers can still grow tall and strong. Given the right time, care and opportunity, everyone can bloom to their full potential. Speaking to our head designers, Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli, comment “since we are supporting young people through their education, the flower represents what all of us can do in order to help a child blossom to their full potential. “Blossoming” is a very important word for this design because it’s inspired by blossoming through adversity.”
Globally, 22% of young people aged 15–24 years are neither in employment, education or training, 68% of whom are girls and young women. Through Charms for change, Pandora supports UNICEF programmes for education, gender equality, rights awareness, personal empowerment, and civic engagement, and has proudly done so since 2019. Collectively, Pandora has supported children all over the world in getting the education they deserve and access to a brighter future and with the purchase of one Pandora for UNICEF charm, UNICEF will for example be able to be able buy 6 school bags, 500 pencils, or 10 exercise books for the classroom.
Through the Charms for change, Pandora fans can unite to empower children everywhere to pursue their passions and fulfil their potential. Wear your support on World Children’s Day with Charms for change and help UNICEF to ensure every child not only survives but thrives.
