- The MoU aims to expand the number of startups owned by businesswomen and enhance their revenues
- Council members will receive a 50% discount on RestHero services
 
Abu Dhabi, UAE  - 2 August  2023: The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RestHero, Platform specialized in providing e-commerce services for entrepreneurs. This aligns with the vision of the wise leadership and supports Abu Dhabi’s strategic goals, which seek to empower women and foster their participation as vital contributors to sustainable development. 
The MoU seeks to promote cooperation to enhance the role played by businesswomen in enhancing sustainable economic development, along with their active contribution to the business community and improving the economy of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
 
The MoU was signed by HE Shaikha Al Nowais, a Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, and Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Shammari, CEO of RestHero, with the attendance of Fatima Helal AlBlooshi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council.
 
As part of the MoU, RestHero will provide a 50% discount on all subscription packages for female members of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council. This aims to empower them with the platform’s services, which are designed to broaden the horizons of their businesses and boost their revenues through many advantages. These benefits include enhancing the digital presence of projects, increasing sales rates, Fast and easy delivery to all customers and consumers in the UAE through social media, and providing integrated services to manage inventory, delivery, orders, and prices, all through seamless digital solutions with utmost efficiency.
 
This collaborative step embodies the commitment of the two parties to foster cooperation and unite efforts in supporting the entrepreneurial community. The focus is on providing all necessary facilitation to ensure the growth and prosperity of startups. The MoU outlines plans for organizing joint events, such as lectures, seminars, conferences, forums, workshops, and consultations, to serve the business community and provide the necessary support to businesswomen and SME owners.
