First Confirmed Superacts at Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards Abu Dhabi 2023

Abu Dhabi - 21 August 2023 - Paramount and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) today announced the first performers of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi 2023, taking place on Saturday, 16 September at Etihad Arena. The global award-winning group Now United, Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter and composer Elyanna, top Saudi artist Bader Al-Shuaibi and Jordanian singer-songwriter Issam Alnajjar are the first names announced to take the stage at the biggest and slimiest party of the year for families.
Taking place at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena, the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi will also feature social media star and content creator Ossy Marwah as co-host of a party packed with family fun, unexpected moments, and more surprises than ever! The event that’s loved by kids around the world will feature a great lineup of talented artists who are sure to bring a fun-packed entertainment show for kids and families across the region, with more talent being revealed in the coming weeks.
Internet sensation Osama ‘Ossy’ Marwah, who will co-host the event, said: “Growing up, I watched all my favorite stars take this very stage! I cannot wait to make this KCA the best one yet!”.

Elyanna unites listeners worldwide around a stunning signature style steeped in Arabic music, pop, and R&B. Singing in Arabic and English, the Palestinian-Chilean singer and songwriter instantly enchants with soul and spirit. Being the first to perform in Arabic at Coachella Music Festival, she is at the vanguard of a new generation poised to make Arabic music heard globally.
Saudi pop artist Bader Al-Shuabi started his career at a young age, in 2002. He gained fame in the GCC and the Arab world with his distinguished and different art. Always keen to reach all audiences, he made it to the top as a global pop star, his face appearing on a billboard in New York’s Times Square to mark his collaboration with K-Pop star Alexa.
Jordanian singer-songwriter Issam Alnajjar first began his musical career by posting videos on social media. His debut single “Hadal Ahbek” went viral, leading to the young artist being the first person signed to Universal Arabic Music. Today, the young sensation continues to amass millions of streams with his impressive vocals, relatable lyrics, and acoustic tunes.
Osama Marwah, known as Ossy, is a Syrian-Canadian content creator known for his light-hearted and funny videos that often also involve his friends and family. Ossy has amassed over 12 million followers across all platforms, making him one of the region's top YouTube stars.
Fans can vote across 16 categories on Nickelodeon’s digital site https://kca.nickelodeonarabia.com/ and on Instagram using the hashtag of their favorite nominee.
The show will premiere on Nickelodeon MENA and will be aired on Nickelodeon channels worldwide.
