Applications now open for new six-day intensive artificial intelligence program for local and international executives at MBZUAI
Abu Dhabi, UAE, July 25, 2024: Thirty local and international executives are encouraged to apply for Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI)’s targeted week-long executive program to be held in Abu Dhabi in October.
The MBZUAI Executive Program - Accelerated (MEP-A) is a six-day condensed, tailored program of the university’s popular MBZUAI Executive Program (MEP) with applications now open for the first cohort.
The program will kick-off with an orientation day on October 20, with on campus lectures, site visits, and cultural and networking activities to be held from October 21 to October 25, 2024.
The curriculum will cover the UAE’s AI strategy, AI fundamentals, and industry case studies ranging from robotics to manufacturing and energy. Participants will also have the opportunity to get first-hand experience on how UAE-based entities are adopting AI and advanced technologies through site visits and networking events.
Instructors include MBZUAI’s President and University Professor, Eric Xing; Pehong Chen Distinguished Professor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley, Michael Jordan; Vice President for Research and Professor of Robotics at MBZUAI, Sami Haddadin; and renowned Instructors from top international institutions, as well as leaders from national entities.
“MEP-A has maintained its academic rigor and offers local and international executives, startup founders and co-founders, top management from publicly traded companies and multinational corporations, and international foundation directors’ the opportunity to access the greatest global minds in artificial intelligence right here in Abu Dhabi,” MBZUAI’s Vice President of Public Affairs and Alumni Relations, Sultan Al Hajji, said.
“In return for their minimal time commitment, participants will graduate with knowledge on the best practices in AI strategy and implementation as well as how to use the power of AI responsibly. The program will conclude with business integration – enabling participants to directly apply their knowledge to their organizations – and networking opportunities with past MEP alumni.”
A total of 30 international and UAE-based participants will be selected and may opt to attend the biggest tech and startup event in the world, GITEX Global, at Dubai World Trade Center (October 14 to 18, 2024) as a prelude to MEP-A.
