Eagerly anticipated ‘Summer Heroes’ sports tournament will run from 5-11 August 2024

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 05 Aug 2024 – The third edition of the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) and Al Ain Summer Sports (AASS) has already enjoyed unprecedented visitor numbers as it strengthens its position as the largest sports, health and wellness experience in Abu Dhabi, catering for all ages and fitness levels. With an exciting lineup of competitions in football, Padel, Tennis and Basketball, ADSS and AASS continue to provide sports enthusiasts across Abu Dhabi with the ideal place to stay active and compete throughout the hot summer months.

Organised by Capital 360 Event Experiences, a subsidiary of the ADNEC Group, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, this year’s festival of sports, physical fitness training and wellness sessions is running from June 14 to August 23 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and from July 7 to August 25 at ADNEC Centre Al Ain.

By mid-July, both ADSS and AASS have experienced phenomenal attendance across both venues compared to the previous edition. In terms of the popularity of individual sports, padel at ADSS has been the most popular with over a thousand bookings, while hundreds of visitors have also grabbed the opportunity to play football, badminton, paintball target shooting, volleyball, action cricket and table tennis among many others. In Al Ain, youngsters have enthusiastically taken advantage of the Kids Access Package with other visitors playing 5-a-side football, volleyball, padel, badminton and other sports.

Sports enthusiasts are also looking forward to the ‘Summer Heroes’ sports tournament, which runs from 5-11 August 2024. Teams will compete in the 5-A-Side Football  at both ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and ADNEC Centre Al Ain, as well as  padel, Badminton and Table Tennis competitions to be held at both venues. The Tennis tournament will take place  at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi only and the basketball competition will see teams competing at ADNEC Centre Al Ain.
